The Second. R.I. is an exchange project supported by a Marie Sklodowska-Curie Research and Innovation Staff Exchange (RISE) within the European Union’s H2020 research and innovation program.
The project aims to establish and support multidisciplinary and international sharing of knowledge and enable new professional skills for researcher and managerial staff enhancing potential innovation of the S&T research in rapid prototyping and biomaterials for bone tissue engineering.
Furthermore, the involvement of two technology transfer centers and one SME will explore the best solutions to exploit the research results. In particular, international technology transfer and intellectual property protection, absorptive capacity and technology innovation networks, human resource management, and how the interplay of these factors influences technological innovation in Chinese and European enterprises, as well as the associated impacts on EU policies and enterprises in the biomaterials sector will be investigated.
The exchange program will involve 5 partners and will be performed through a series of short and long periods of staff exchanges between Europe and China.
