The China-Italy Science, Technology & Innovation Week–2017 Edition was held in three different cities across China from the 13th to 17th of November. The whole week was dedicated to the science and technology cooperation activities between the two countries with the aim of creating scientific, technological and commercial partnerships in the innovative research-entrepreneurial system.
The event was launched in Beijing on November 14th with the presence of the Italian Minister of Education, University and Research, Valeria Fedeli and the Chinese Minister of Science and Technology, Wan Gang. The following days the participants moved to Chengdu - an important economic centre and a strategic location for transportation and communication - and in Guiyang - the economic and technology centre of the Guizhou Province.
The event consits of thematic seminars and roundtables about relevant S&T topics for both countries, as well as one-to-one meetings.
