In order to boost the research of new technological materials within the project Second.R.I. (Marie Sklodowska-Curie RISE, grant agreement No 734391.) the Department of Chemical Science and Materials technology of the National Research council of Italy at Sichuan university’s technology transfer office, professor Ambrosio e 5 exchange scientists from both Italy and China have visited the Southwest Centre for Technology Transfer on 26 September.
The delegation visited the three floors of the southwest transfer centre and the science and technology service areas on the 6th and 7th floor. The director of the transfer centre, Cheng Jin and the deputy director Lin Song, briefed the delegation on the existing situation, the main business, and the development vision of the centre.
During the meeting, the two sides decided to team up with the objective to form a robust partnership on scientific research projects involving the Sichuan Province’s scientific partners.
Professor Ambrosio and his team gave a high evaluation and affirmation of the Southwest Centre. After the meeting, the two parties held the unveiling ceremony of the “China Sichuan-Italy New Material International Technology Transfer Platform” and the “China Sichuan-Italian New Material International Technology Transfer Platform” officially settled in the southwest centre, which opened the Sino-Italian cooperation in international technology transfer in the field of new materials.
